JA Inspire will connect middle and high school students with business professionals and organizations to help them figure out their future career paths.
Agana,Guam – JA Inspire Guam will happen on the 10th of September, 2022. This event is aimed at middle and high school students, with the purpose of helping them map out their future career paths. JA Inspire will bring together companies and businesses which will represent a wide range of careers for these students. So, students, parents, and other relevant people can register here to explore these opportunities.
This will be the first event from the JA Asia Pacific region, and will open up career opportunities for students all over Asia. It will be free for all middle and high school students, and be a valuable tool for them to map out their futures. This makes it much more than a simple career fair, as it is designed to change students’ lives. There, students will be able to explore various careers and also interact with others from all over Asia, such as Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
Pinki Lujan, Executive Director of JA Guam, said, “ JA Guam is pleased to be the first of the JA Asia Pacific region to introduce this opportunity to students from this part of the world. There are exceptionally brilliant students who are capable of tackling some of the most difficult problems we face today and I believe we can support these people by amplifying their voice and increasing their exposure for more opportunities. JA Inspire is a pivotal way to promote such innovations.”
Muhammad Younas, CEO and Founder at vFairs, added, “It is exciting to see excellent organizations like Junior Achievement hosting events in the Asia Pacific region. There are very fruitful opportunities here, and developing future careers for students is an important part of maximizing these opportunities.”
JA Inspire Guam is scheduled for the 10th of September, 2022. Middle and high school students should register now on the event website and explore their future careers.
About JA Inspire Guam
In 1975, Junior Achievement of Guam was founded by Allen A. Pickens, a partner with accounting firm Peat Marwick, today known as Deloitte & Touche LLP. As president of Rotary Club of Guam, Al reached out and introduced JA’s experiential hands-on After-School Company Program. Al’s vision, business connections, and belief in the potential of Guam and its people allowed the program to grow and thrive long after his retirement and departure in 1999.
