We all enjoy scrolling through the live feed on our social media platforms. The feed keeps you updated and of course, it’s super fun to go through other people’s feeds. What if we tell you that you can now enjoy the same benefits of having a live feed at your event, be it virtual or hybrid?
Events don’t have to be dull, and incorporating an event feed can be an excellent way to increase attendee involvement. Participants can share their event experiences and express their overall feelings about the event.
vFairs Live Feed is your route to keep things interactive, engaging, and fun during the live event for attendees and booth admins. It is somewhat like a social media feed, where users can interact with posts in real-time. This acts as a space for participants to share their thoughts, post images, and comment on each other’s posts. This is available for both mobile and web.
Event owners and admins can post text, and pictures on the feed. Attendees and booth admins can interact with these posts by liking and commenting. It is a great way to build hype for your event as well as share updates!
Event owners and admins can easily set the event feed up from the backend. To turn on the Live Feed option within Web and mobile, switch on the relevant toggle within the Advanced Settings in the Event Settings. This will add the Live Feed option within the event’s menu automatically.
By default, Admin and Event Owner user types can post messages from the front end. Event owners or admins can delete posts and comments.
Filtering posts couldn’t get any easier!
Event owners can effortlessly organize the Event Feed by topic, and make it easier for attendees to filter posts that they’re most interested in. Owners or admins can create post categories in the backend. Attendees can then use these categories when they’re creating a new post, or filter current posts on the Feed through them.
Attendees can select post categories from a drop-down menu at the time of making a new post. They have the option to add multiple suitable categories to the same post as well.
The Event Feed is a synergistic place where you can get lots of valuable event insights. Therefore, as an event owner you can easily review the activity happening in real-time and get reports to further analyze within the backend.
The Event Feed Report will allow event organizers to collect information and statistics about all the posts that users have made and also record the engagement on these posts.
Some of the data points in the report include, post titles, number of likes & comments on each post, names of attendees who’ve posted, commented or like the post, and more.
Event Feed can strongly impact your event. Here are some benefits that you as an event owner can enjoy:
